Grip
The strap is made of webbing with rubber woven in. Webbing is strong and won't stretch, but it is slippery. Rubber grips, but it stretches.
Combining these two elements gives us a strong, non-stretch strap that grips exceptionally well.
Leverage
The handle is made with British steel formed for strength. It will give you all the leverage you need to open even a stubborn lid.
