Green Strap Opener

• Simply loosen the strap

• Place it over the lid with the lip facing the direction you'd like to twist

• Pull the strap tail to tighten (no need to hold on to the strap)

• Push the handle away from you

• Simply loosen the strap

• Place it over the lid with the lip facing the direction you'd like to twist

• It works best if the handle is at approximately a 10 o'clock angle

• Pull the strap tail to tighten (no need to hold on to the strap)

• Pull the handle towards you

• The strap can be used one-handed, provided you have something to hold the jar in place e.g. a belly clamp

• Hold the strap tail and push the handle towards the lid until it is snug

• You can now let go of the strap, and push the handle away from you

• To release the lid, simply pull back on the handle

• You may be wondering whether you need to hold the strap or lock it in somehow? The answer is NO

• Once you've placed the strap around the lid and tightened it from the other end, the lip pushes the strap against the lid creating an easy to use locking mechanism

If you still find yourself wanting to hold on to the strap, the best way to do so is to:

• tighten it around the lid as usual

• fold the tail back over the handle

• now you can easily hold the handle and the strap

• Place the lip of the handle under the rim

• Use the handle to lever it open

• Pull the strap all the way back

• Use the back of the handle to pop off the bottle cap

What if you need to open something that isn't open-ended e.g. a pipe?

• You can easily unthread the strap from the handle

• Wrap it around the pipe

• Thread it back through the handle

• Tighten & pull
